terrypurple73The phone rang this morning, and thankfully it was Katie J. I had this sick feeling rise up in me that thought it was going to be Mana calling, saying someone we know had died in the 35W bridge collapse. I sat with my feet in the Platte River this morning and cried, just for the sake of my home state.
So I'm in this odd emotional space. I head to Omaha tonight for Jen and Codak's wedding, and I'm really excited to see people, so many that I haven't seen for a year. It's going to be a great, though full, weekend. Good to be with people who have loved me for a bunch of years.
