Jan. 11th, 2006 12:03 pmLast night as I was trying to find some music to listen to as I folded my laundry, I happened across this new Christian radio station that a co-worker likes. I thought, let's see if they have good music. Instead, let me tell you all the fascinating (or something) things that I learned from this therapist (or something) who was talking.
1. Boys who are secure in their masculinity will not grow up to be gay.
2. One third of this man's clients were sexually abused as children. (This is clearly representative of all gay men, not of gay men seeking therapy, I guess.)
3. Homosexual behavior is a form of exhibitionism- men trying to be recognized by other men, since they weren't recognized by their fathers.
All this, and more, if you listen to "Truths that Transform- The Condition of Male Homosexuality." Of course, if you sit with your finger poised over the off button of the radio just waiting for something to be so obscene that you can't stand to listen anymore, then you just won't learn a thing, will you.
Oh good lord.
Also, did you know there's a famine in Africa? No, not just a FOOD famine, you silly folks. There's a BIBLE FAMINE, too! If you help sendbiblesnow.com, though, I suppose lives will be saved.
Oh good lord, again.
Again, this is why religions can't figure out each other- they can't even figure out themselves! They can think that I'm not a Christian; I don't care; I'm certainly not a Christian like that! What the hell.
