Aug. 22nd, 2005 12:52 pmI have a job interview on Wednesday with the CO Coalition for the Homeless. This would be awesome.
My roommate Nicky keeps saying something to the effect of, Thank you God for my job, even if I don't know what it is yet.
This makes sense to me.
Suzie Homemaker is how I've been spending my time in Denver so far, but in a good way. Ryan and I move our furniture around all day, we all cook together, we walk to the library where the internet is free, and most days, our phone works. Plus, I'm in love with everyone.
I didn't get the job at the Colorado AIDS Project, but at least they were really nice about it. They offered it to someone internally, so that's hard to compete with some days. But it's okay. Also, if I work at the Coalition, I could walk there. Nice!
I got insanely frustrated last week (even before I heard about CAP) about the job stuff. I talked to Mana on the phone, and after I got off, I just started crying because I miss so many things that aren't in Denver. Again, having three places count as home gets a little confusing sometimes. But I'm really good out here, for real. I love our home, and I'm continually amazed at how we are being provided for. We've practically furnished our house for free, just out of people's generosity. This is amazing to me.
I have just a few minutes left on my time at the library computer, so I'm off. But I'm really happy so far here. And really excited for all these upcoming adventures that I know our Community will have together.
(Also, I got to hang out with Eric Schliemann! Hooray!!!)
