terrypurple73Surgery went fine today, for all who were interested. I can even talk now, so that's making things easier. I apparently am knocked out very easily by anesthesia.... They said it would take twenty or so minutes to wake up, but it was closer to an hour and a half... But I have learned what Mana liked so much about Vicaden... mmmm... But the surgery itself went really well. I freaked out this morning right before we left- scared and things, and then again when they stuck me with the needle- started fussing and scrunching up my knees.... reminiscent of getting shots when I was younger. Well, not that much younger... :) But anyways, I'm hanging out with myself for the weekend, so if anyone wants to keep me company Saturday night, you are more than welcome to come on over.
On other notes, I have been having weird and vivid dreams all week. A lot of them about hanging out with Victoria and Colin. In the past week, she has helped me buy new glasses while he shopped for new T-shirts and pajamas. He also took us to some restaurant that might as well have been attached to the porn barn, 'cause it was so bizarre like that. We were really concerned. And then they were both writing me letters. I also dreamt that I was in New York with Shannon and Meg ordering grilled cheese sandwiches, but then they left, and I met this fantastic, perfect, wonderful guy. And he got along great with my dad, and he cuddled with me, except that that was in my room at work with a bunch of kids nearby. But he was really sweet, and his name was Steve. And the grilled cheese sandwich he brought me (he was sort of a waiter to Shannon and Meg's dorm in NY) cost $21, but he didn't make me pay for it.
My punkass called me earlier this week, and that was much appreciated. Then I had dinner with her parents the next night, and that was nice as well. She comes home in less than two weeks, and this pleases me A LOT.
I've been missing the CU crew lately. I was thinking of the whole crowd as I nervously went into the surgery this morning. So Mana, Katie, Codak, Jen, Victoria, Colin, and Jess- you all gave me great hugs this morning, thanks! ;)
I've been hanging out with Jenn a lot here recently, and that's been really good. We had a "hot date" last weekend, so we got all dressed up and treated ourselves to dinner and dessert and the Wal-Mart fabric department. Yeah, that part wasn't quite the "hot date" aspect, but it was fun. :)
I've been reading more lately than I had been, which feels good. Not the books I planned on reading for the summer, but easier reads that I actually make progress through.
Ep and I have also spent time talking and hanging out, and I think we have been helping each other keep sane. Plus we got to go to a graduation party for someone we (or at least I) had never met, so that was a good time. Stramps was there, so that explains it. :):)
So that's the recent events of my week.... I am going to try to stay awake for a while until I can fall asleep at a decent time tonight. I took two back-to-back two-hour naps already this afternoon, so maybe later if the pain comes back, my very own Vicaden and I will have a party.

ah, ha. just kidding. so anyway, i miss you. did i mention that? cuz oh yeah, i do... :) I just had my final oral exam here and I totally aced it.. yeah and my roomie sucks at spanish.
