terrypurple73I love William Slattery. We played phone tag for a couple days, but got a hold of each other tonight for “CLC.” And he seemed genuinely excited about CLCing on a weekly basis for a while, which I’m really excited about. So Wednesday at 9, it is my turn to call him. We didn’t get to talk too long, but nonetheless, it was really nice to talk with him. It’s good to share away-from-Community experiences with someone, someone else who isn’t there. And mostly, it’s a good reminder of the trust level I have with him. I want to keep up a relationship with him. I was so worried about him and his situation by the time he left, so frustrated and worried at the same time. So hopefully we will keep in contact, and see how things go.
My bestest called me Wednesday night, and after getting to talk with her, she passed the phone to both Colin and Jill. I didn’t get very long talks in with either of them, since Shannon was over and there were plenty of people around Community, but it was nice to hear voices. Colin and Caitlin are most likely going to come visit Minnesota this summer, which is way exciting. And even though Jill and I didn’t get very long, we both said that we missed being able to talk one-on-one with each other, and that it would be good to get some of that in soon.
I will basically have Fridays off for most of the summer, so if any of you want to occupy my time, that would be great. And I’ll for sure be able to come to Omaha on the 25th for the Offutt trials, which is exciting. The weekend will be crazy busy, but I know it will be worth it and good.
This weekend, I am having a shindig at my house. So any of you who want to come over tomorrow (Saturday) night around 8, please do. And bring people, whoever it is that you hang around with.
In my vast amounts of time at home, I have managed to put together a webpage (I know, it’s crazy) with my Salvador journals and some of the pics. The entries are nothing different than what was posted here, but the pics are fun. The website starts at www.geocities.com/terrypurple73/salvador-1, and there are links to continuing pages. I’m a nerd, in case we hadn’t established that.
