Jun. 24th, 2003 04:33 pmI came home from work just a bit ago, and I consisted of one part dirt, one part sweat, and about three parts baby spit-up. Yum. You KNOW you wanted to hug me. :) But I changed clothes and felt more human again (human as opposed to the humidity-defying, ever-patient, super-human that I get to be at the Truempis). I turned on the radio and they were just starting Tracy Chapman's "Revolution." So I cranked it up and had my very own dance party in my room, a la the kind from the Des Moines Catholic Worker. Oh, and on my drive home out of the Truempi's neighborhood, I stopped at the park down the street where apparently they have automatic sprinklers. They were on, and I definitely pranced around with my pant legs rolled up. And then drove home barefoot. I have had the funnest half hour ever. Don't make fun of me. :):)
So things are good. Except who just sent me like twelve emails since midnight? You people! Oh well. I'm done now. Off to maybe find a popsicle.... :)
