terrypurple73I know it doesn't take a lot to make me grin, but Pat is doing a pretty good job of it anyways. :) I'm going to give this a shot and see where it goes, and I'm pretty excited about that. :):)
His email yesterday made me think of Scott Duescher, actually. Pat said at one point how cool he thinks my socks are, and it made me remember an email or IM conversation with Scott senior year. Scott was being all moody and telling me that he thought I was awesome, but sometimes I did things that just drove him crazy, like when I talked about my socks. He thought that was so dumb and immature. Who cares what Scott Duescher thinks? I didn't care about that then, and I still don't, but Pat's comment made me think of it. Someone likes me with all my goofy characteristics, and I think that's pretty cool.
Also, the night before last I dreamt that it was the weekend before finals (which just passed), and that for a study break, I flew out to New York for the weekend. Halfway there, I realized that I had never told Shannon I was coming, but she was around anyway, and we had a grand weekend. It was a ball, and I was so excited to be visiting, especially the week before finals. So that seals it, Epi, we need to get together at one of our schools some time soon.

Date: 2002-12-11 08:06 pm (UTC)I ran the idea by my mom that we might want to drive down to Omaha in January, and she was very enthusiastic about it. She thinks it would also be fun to bring Brian so he could tour Creighton. I think it's a good idea all around. So we just might be coming to visit sometime during the first couple weeks of your semester.
Congratulations about the boy :)
My boyfriend is still a pig, though, right?
