May. 13th, 2011 11:00 pmHouse meeting went well this past weekend- so much better than it could have, based on the recent drama in the house. But we came to some good compromises and decisions, and I'm proud of us.
Staff meeting today wasn't quite as much fun. The higher-ups want us to bring more Catholic elements into the program, and as Wendy talked about it in the meeting this afternoon, I started crying. It's great to have spiritual crises at work.... It just feels so wrong, on so many levels. Coercive and pandering are the two adjectives that come to mind. I'll have more to say later, but for now- it's just such a wrong way to show our faith through the best practices we strive for.
