I'm sorry, but I did not receive your email until later in the evening. While I think that we should just be friends, as they say, we should definitely get to know each other better. How does coffee (or any other beverage) next week sound, as a quick study break, sometime when you are on campus?

This is okay. I had realized earlier today that even if he said no to a date, I would still be okay with it because I am so proud that I asked him in the first place. And really, I am just excited to get to know him better. I'm not even saying this because I got rejected for a date or whatever- I think he is an amazing guy, and I am pleased to get to know him. And it sounds like he wants to hang out with me. So this is good. Even if it isn't for a date. So yeah, I'm disappointed. Of course. But he's super sweet about it. I like it when I can fall for guys who won't make me feel all foolish for liking them.
